Overview:
Celebrate LOVE with a series of weekly online classes that nurture the heart qualities of loving-kindness, joy, peace, and forgiveness. Drawing inspiration from the themes of Valentine's Day and the Chinese Year of the Wood Snake (which brings wisdom, intuition, and renewal), these classes will guide you toward a deeper connection with yourself and others.
Details:
Format: 1-hour recorded class, to take in your own time (recommended once a week) + plenty of additional practices, reflections and reading to go as deep as you wish
Structure:
Opening with a guided meditation (10–15 minutes)
A teaching on the heart quality of the week (15–20 minutes)
Some practices or reflections exercise to explore the topic personally
Week 1: Loving-Kindness (Metta)
Explore the transformative power of unconditional love for self and others.
Guided meditation on extending loving-kindness.
Teaching: Overcoming barriers to love and nurturing compassion.
Reflection/Practice: Writing and sharing a "Loving-Kindness Phrase" tailored to your journey.
Week 2: Joy
Discover how to cultivate joy and celebrate others’ happiness.
Guided meditation on finding joy in small moments.
Teaching: The practice of sympathetic joy and gratitude.
Reflection/Practice: Sharing moments of joy from your life and creating a "Joy List."
Week 3: Peace
Learn practices to foster inner peace and tranquility.
Guided meditation on creating a sanctuary within.
Teaching: Responding to challenges with equanimity and balance.
Reflection/Practice: Identifying what disrupts peace and brainstorming ways to restore it.
Week 4: Forgiveness
Open your heart to healing through forgiveness.
Guided meditation on releasing resentment.
Teaching: The courage to forgive and how forgiveness frees the heart.
Reflection/Practice: Writing a forgiveness letter.
Each class is £20, making it a total of £80 for the whole course... or £70 if you buy them all at once.
